Chas n Dave Tribute Wilf and Squint
The Back Man Squint is the music maker, he is the composer of the music, his main
instrument is the keyboard, but also has a talent to play guitar, drums and many other
instruments, with the help from his partner in rockney, they have wrote and composed
many great songs, such as "Southend By The Sea" and there all time greatest song "My Old
Dad". Since they started over in the late 70`S they have become very experienced and well
known, and they will keep on doing so for many more years to come.
The Front Man Wilf has a rare talent that only the best artists have, he is able to entertain to a high level, he also has a talent for playing the guitar and has a renound comical humor. As a partnership, Wilf and Squint are the most professional and most experienced cockney comedy duo around. Wilf and Squint have been together since the late 70`s. After being in several middle of the road bands, they teamed up as a duo. Wilf and Squint hit on a Cockney sounding formula and it was an immediate success, which was easy for them as it reflected on their musical instruments and the history behind the East End of London. Wilf and Squint started their apprenticeship in local public houses and workingmen's clubs around the East End of London, Gradually working a large proportion of the south of England, quickly going from strength to strength becoming more and more popular. First you had Chas and Dave and then you have Wilf and Squint, but with Wilf and Squint you have two choices, 1, Good Cockney Music 2, Good Cockney Music, with a Cheeky Comedy Act Thrown in, What ever you prefer, you can be guaranteed a night to remember.
