Mel Harris is a rare performer indeed, his powerful vocals and stunningly accurate
guitar playing combine with his natural charm and rapport with the audience to create
an entertainment experience that is hard to beat.
Mel Harris manages to transport you back to the Halcyon Days of pop music, he dresses
like a star of the 60’s, he plays like a star of the 60’s, he sings like a star
of the 60’s, but perhaps most importantly, he has all the excitement of a star of the 60’s.
Mel’s act is completely self contained with a powerful, full range PA system. Apart from his lead vocals and guitar playing his backing is reinforced with the latest in digital technology to give up to thirty two instruments and five part vocal harmonies. No recordings are used, and the hi-tech equipment is there to augment the man’s talent, not to replace it. Visually Mel uses a computer controlled halogen lighting system, plus an eight feet square backdrop, which together with smoke and lighting effects transforms any size venue into a Big Gig atmosphere.
