He surveys his audience with his musical eyes and then just plays what comes to him and it works - I've never seen the same set - always pitching it right
He mixes many different types of songs together, flowing fluidly no need to pause for praise, the result being you are continually entertained thinking; where is he going next?
He interacts with his audience as he plays at full pace just to capture the mood of the moment or to signal the arrival of another regular fan!
I personally love it when he lays down the chords, overlays the rhythm, and then plays effortlessly over the top adding the bass as he goes all whilst singing, it's inspirational stuff - other guitarists are extremely impressed - I've seen their faces!
His talent is intimidating but he is so generous he makes us all feel like stars, whether we're dancing, attempting the back up vocals or playing the tambourine, Marcus makes a night out so enjoyable, I'm always looking forward to the next event!
